Literary Analysis Paper From Historical Perspective - Essay Example Isolation is the theme of this poem, it explores the relationship that exists between two neighbors, the dark-age mentality of one neighbor speaks volumes about his nature and attitude, even these days there are several people who prefer living in complete isolation. Stopping by the woods on a snowy evening was written by Robert Frost in the year 1922, the main theme of this poem is beauty, the poet over and over again tries to highlight the beauty of nature. Words like â€Å"lovely† â€Å"dark† and â€Å"deep† clearly signify that the poet is truly captivated by the beauty of nature. The poet has tried to convey his thoughts by clearly saying that people have too much to do these days, they have no time to enjoy the beauty of nature, and they have no time to appreciate the beauty of nature. â€Å"But I have promises to keep† (Stopping by the Woods) the poet clearly has to move on and keep his promises rather than sit there all day long and enjoy the beaut y of nature.
